Operation Patriot, the Largest Ever ICE Operation, Results in Arrests of Nearly 1,500 Illegals in Massachusetts

Operation Patriot, the largest ever immigration enforcement operation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), has resulted in the arrest of nearly 1,500 undocumented individuals, including violent criminals, in the state of Massachusetts. The operation, which concluded after a span of several weeks, targeted individuals with criminal records or deportation orders, including murderers, rapists, drug traffickers, and child sex predators. According to sources at ICE, 790 of the arrested individuals had criminal convictions or charges, and 277 had final removal or deportation orders. The sources indicated that the targeted criminals had been living freely in Massachusetts before being apprehended during the operation. The effort spanned the entire month of May and involved ICE teams from other states in the Northeast, as well as collaboration with federal agencies such as the FBI, DEA, and ATF.
