WWE and AAA Unite for Cross-Promotion Showcase at Worlds Collide

The pro wrestling world will experience a significant shift as WWE and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide co-produce ‘Worlds Collide,’ the first cross-promotion event in 27 years. This event will be followed by ‘Money in the Bank,’ where competitors will vie for the iconic briefcase offering a world title shot. Both events will take place on Saturday, kicking off with Worlds Collide at 3 p.m. ET. The collaboration between the two organizations marks a significant step following WWE’s acquisition of AAA during WrestleMania 41.

Worlds Collide will feature a blend of talent from both promotions, as well as performers from Total Nonstop Action. The event will include high-profile matches such as El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Chad Gable for the AAA Mega Championship and a six-man tag-team match featuring El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., Pagano, and Psycho Clown against SmackDown’s Legado Del Fantasma. Additionally, Stephanie Vaquer will compete in a tag-team match with Lola Vice and later take part in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

The event will also see the defense of the NXT North American title by Ethan Page against Laredo Kid, Rey Fenix, and Je’Von Evans. The men’s Money in the Bank match will feature Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Penta, Seth Rollins, Andrade, and El Grande Americano, while the women’s match will include Vaquer, Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez, Rhea Ripley, Giulia, and Naomi. Last year, Drew McIntyre won the men’s match and attempted to cash in during Damian Priest’s match with Seth Rollins, while Tiffany Stratton won the women’s match and later cashed in on Nia Jax.

Elsewhere, Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch’s bitter feud will come to a head with the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line. John Cena will also be in action, teaming up with Logan Paul to take on Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes, following his interference in Uso’s World Heavyweight Championship defense against Paul. The events will provide a thrilling day of action for pro wrestling fans, with several title opportunities and notable matches to look forward to.
