According to court documents obtained by the Hartselle Enquirer, Mann is accused of using lead from a construction project to poison his wife, Hannah Pettey, 25, who was hospitalized for two months. Authorities believe the lead was used to intentionally cause her to ingested particles of lead, potentially leading to severe health complications.
Mann’s attorneys have countered the charges, claiming that he too was subjected to lead poisoning within their home.
