ATF Confident Minnesota Lawmaker Shooter Will Be Identified Soon

Authorities are intensifying an ongoing manhunt for 57-year-old Vance L. Boelter, who is accused of carrying out a violent attack on two Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses. The incident, which occurred over a weekend, has raised concerns about political violence in the United States. Boelter, described as a White male in his late 50s, is believed to have targeted former Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, in their Brooklyn Park home. The suspect also reportedly wounded State Sen. John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, at their Champlin home, located approximately nine miles away. The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for any information leading to the capture of Boelter, who is described as armed and dangerous.
