Florida Man Convicted of Fraudulent Flight Attendant Scheme

A Florida man, Tiron Alexander, has been convicted by a federal jury for fraudulently accessing airline websites to book over 120 free flights using fake flight attendant credentials between 2018 and 2024. He used information from seven different airlines to bypass security and board 34 of the flights without paying.

X Alexander, 35, was found guilty by a federal jury of wire fraud and entering a secure airport area under false pretenses on June 5. Over a period of six years, from 2018 to 2024, Alexander claimed to work for seven different airlines, using approximately 30 badge numbers and dates of hire to obtain flights. While the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) confirmed that he underwent all security procedures including ID verification and physical screening, the agency expressed satisfaction with the guilty verdict, emphasizing its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of airline passengers. Alexander’s sentencing is scheduled for August 25.
