Federal Magistrate Judge Barbara Holmes has ordered Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran migrant who was erroneously deported to El Salvador earlier this month before being returned to the U.S. for prosecution, to be placed in his brother’s custody if released by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
