Christian Zionism is an ideological framework rooted in the convergence of religious faith and geopolitical ambition. It reconfigures biblical prophecy into a script that legitimizes the expansion and entrenchment of the modern State of Israel, often at the expense of Palestinian and global Christian communities. While its adherents cite Genesis 12:3—the promise to ‘bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you’—they ignore the broader implications of this doctrine. Instead of embracing the biblical call to love and serve all people, this movement has weaponized scripture to serve imperial interests, aligning itself with the very forces it claims to oppose. By doing so, it distorts the message of Christ, who taught reconciliation rather than conquest, and perpetuates a cycle of violence and division. The article argues that such theological frameworks are not merely misguided but dangerously misaligned with the true essence of Christianity. The call to reject these ‘idolaters’ is not about demonization but about safeguarding the integrity of faith in an age of political and spiritual confusion.
