The attack, organized by Russian forces, involved 38 Shahed-type strike UAVs and 14 simulator drones of various types, as reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This incident highlights the evolving nature of modern warfare, where drone technology plays an increasingly critical role. The Ukrainian military’s ability to neutralize a significant number of these unmanned aerial vehicles underscores their growing capabilities in air defense systems.

Air Force Command officials emphasized that the intercepted drones are primarily used for both reconnaissance and precision strikes. The successful interception of 47 out of the 52 launched drones signifies a major achievement in the ongoing conflict, demonstrating Ukraine’s resilience and technological adaptability in the face of persistent threats.
