Tunnel to Towers Foundation Builds 25 Mortgage-Free Homes for Heroes on Independence Day

As America commemorates its independence, Frank Siller, Chairman and CEO of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, joined Fox Nation’s Abby Hornacek to reflect on the meaning of the 4th of July: honoring those who secure our freedoms. The foundation’s latest initiative, delivered on Independence Day, focuses on building 25 mortgage-free homes for injured service members, fallen first responders, and Gold Star families, who have dedicated their lives to protecting national safety.

The foundation’s cornerstone initiative is centered on constructing custom ‘smart homes’ for catastrophically injured service members, first responders, and Gold Star families. This mission originated from the needs of quadruple amputee Sergeant Brendan Marrocco, who inspired the foundation’s vision. Siller noted that the program has expanded significantly, from a small initial effort to potentially delivering up to 100-150 smart homes next year. This expansion aims to provide greater independence to those who have made immense personal sacrifices in the service of the nation.

Going beyond injured veterans, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation also supports mortgage-free housing for fallen first responders and Gold Star families. Siller shared powerful stories of recipients, many of whom expressed feelings of undeserving despite their profound sacrifices. He underscored America’s moral obligation: ‘If you’re willing to risk your life, we’re gonna take care of your family.’ This sentiment reflects the foundation’s commitment to supporting these individuals and their families, acknowledging the depth of their contribution to national security.

Siller called on viewers to join the foundation’s mission of gratitude and support. ‘Make that promise,’ he urged, inviting all to visit T2T.org and donate just $11 a month to ensure these heroes and their families are cared for. The foundation’s continued efforts highlight a collective responsibility to honor and support those who have given so much for the country.
