On July 7, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a grant program offering up to UAH 16 million for enterprises impacted by the war. This initiative supports the restoration of new equipment, installation, and delivery processes. The move was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Yulia Svyrydenko.
The grants are part of a broader effort to stabilize the Ukrainian economy and ensure continuity in critical sectors such to manufacturing, energy, and infrastructure. By funding the acquisition and installation of new equipment, the government aims to mitigate economic losses incurred due to the conflict and support businesses in resuming operations.
Yulia Svyrydenko emphasized that the allocation is crucial for maintaining economic stability and fostering recovery. She noted that the affected enterprises, which include both small and medium-sized businesses and large industrial firms, will benefit from the financial support to rebuild and modernize their operations. The government’s approach reflects a strategic effort to bolster domestic industries and reduce reliance on imports, thereby enhancing economic resilience.
