President Donald Trump mocked Democratic Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jasmine Crockett as ‘very low IQ’ during a press briefing, and challenged them to an IQ test. He claimed to have aced his own test at Walter Reed Medical Center. Ocasio-Cortez recently criticized Trump over the E. Jean Carroll civil trial, while Crockett previously responded to Trump’s derogatory remarks on Meet the Press.
Trump’s remarks came during a press briefing before boarding Marine One en route to an artificial intelligence summit. The president joked about Ocasio-Cortez’s intelligence, stating he believes she is ‘very nice’ but ‘very low IQ.’ He further suggested that both Ocasio-Cortez and Crockett should take an IQ test, implying that their intelligence is in question. The president emphasized that he himself passed a real test, claiming to have aced it at Walter Reed Medical Center.
Rep. Ocasio-Cortez has ramped up her criticism of President Trump recently, calling him a ‘rapist’ in a post on X following a DOJ update related to Jeffrey Epstein. She appeared to be referencing the 2023 civil trial leveled against Trump by writer E. Jean Carroll. A jury found Trump liable for sexual assault, but not for rape. Critics said she defamed the president with the remark.
Back in May, Crockett said ‘you’re terrified of smart, bold Black women telling the truth and holding you accountable’ after President Trump called her a ‘low IQ person’ on Meet the Press.
Whether Ocasio-Cortez or Crockett will take the bait and accept the IQ test challenge remains to be seen. The White House did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
