Democratic National Committee to Skip Key Campaign Analysis in 2024 Election Autopsy

Democratic National Committee’s review of the 2024 election will focus on external groups like super PACs rather than strategic decisions made during the Biden-Harris campaign. This decision has sparked internal frustrations within the party, as officials expressed concerns about avoiding critical questions about the campaign’s approach.

The report, launched in March and under review by Democratic operative Paul Rivera, includes over 200 interviews with officials from all 50 states. Despite avoiding key questions about the campaign, DNC officials were optimistic about the report’s upcoming results. They emphasized that the review is not a finger-pointing exercise, but about adopting an actionable playbook to win future elections.

The Democratic National Committee has been under controversy recently with multiple resignations and party infighting. Last month, American Federation of Teachers (AFT) chief Randi Weingarten and Lee Saunders, President of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, resigned from their positions, citing problems with party leadership.
