Bill Maher and JD Vance Mock Left-Wing Backlash Over Sydney Sweeney’s Jeans Ad

Comedian Bill Maher and JD Vance have mocked the left-wing backlash against Sydney Sweeney’s American Eagle jeans ad, dismissing the accusations as overreach and highlighting the absurdity of comparing the campaign to Nazi ideology. The ad, which features Sweeney in a blue denim outfit, has sparked a wave of criticism from some online activists who claim it represents racial insensitivity and white supremacy.

Maher, host of ‘Real Time,’ openly ridiculed those who label Sweeney as a ‘nazi’ and a ‘White supremacist,’ quipping that critics themselves are not practicing what they preach.

He made fun of the hypocrisy of the so-called ‘social justice girls’ who claim there is ‘no such thing as good genes,’ yet they engage in their own brand of judgment on dating apps. Vance, the vice president, also weighed in, suggesting that the Democrats’ reaction to the ad reveals a lack of understanding about how to manage public opinion post-2024 election.

He pointed out that the ad itself is a normal marketing campaign, yet the response has been excessive, indicating a deeper issue within the party’s strategy.
