Sybiha Engages with Japanese Business and JICA Officials

During the meeting, Sybiha emphasized the strategic importance of strengthening Ukraine’s ties with Japan, particularly in the context of ongoing global challenges. He highlighted the potential for increased investment in infrastructure and technology sectors, which could benefit both nations. Japanese business representatives expressed interest in exploring partnerships in energy and digital transformation projects.

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) team, led by Vice President Kats, discussed the possibility of expanding development assistance programs to support Ukraine’s recovery efforts. JICA has previously provided aid in areas such as education and healthcare, and the current discussions aim to build on these initiatives. Sybiha reiterated Ukraine’s commitment to maintaining a stable and secure environment for foreign investments.
