Lviv Set to Host Ukrainian Wind Energy Forum 2025

The Ukrainian Wind Energy Forum 2025, scheduled to take place in Lviv from September 9–10, represents a pivotal moment in Ukraine’s ongoing commitment to renewable energy development. The event is organized by the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy and the Lviv Regional Council, with support from international partners such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the World Bank. This forum will not only provide a platform for dialogue but will also showcase cutting-edge technologies and potential investment opportunities in the wind energy sector.

Participants will include senior officials from the Ukrainian government, industry leaders from both domestic and international companies, as well as representatives from research institutions and non-governmental organizations. The forum will address critical topics such as the regulatory environment for renewable energy, the integration of wind energy into the national grid, and the role of private sector investment in scaling up wind power capacity across Ukraine. With Ukraine aiming to significantly increase its renewable energy share by 2030, the forum is expected to highlight strategies for achieving these targets while ensuring economic growth and energy security.
