Jasmine Crockett’s recent insults by labeling her ‘a very low IQ person’ during an interview on CNBC’s ‘Squawk Box.’ The remark came after Crockett called Trump a ‘piece of s—‘ at a liberal rally, prompting Trump to mock her intelligence and question her leadership within the Democratic Party.
Trump took the opportunity to criticize the Democratic Party’s direction, claiming it is ‘lost’ and suffering from a severe case of ‘Trump derangement syndrome.’ He further emphasized his belief that his poll numbers are improving and that the Democratic Party is self-destructing. ‘I won the election in a landslide,’ Trump said. ‘And obviously that’s only, you know, we’re only six months in, but my poll numbers are better now, much better than during the election. Part of that is because the Democrat Party is self-destructing.’
During a liberal rally on Sunday, Crockett called Trump a ‘piece of s—,’ which has now sparked a heated response from the president. In his interview, Trump stated, ‘Listen, Donald Trump is a piece of s—. OK, we know that,’ she said to a cheering crowd at the Phoenix stop of MoveOn’s ‘Won’t Back Down Tour.’ Crockett also said that Democrats must be ‘aggressive’ in their approach, stating, ‘But what are we going to need to do then? For me, it’s getting aggressive.’
Trump continued to criticize the Democratic Party, claiming it is in disarray and that its leaders are suffering from an irrational fear of his leadership, calling it ‘Trump derangement syndrome.’ He further asserted that the United States has experienced significant improvement under his leadership, stating, ‘One year ago, one year ago, our country was dead. Now we have the hottest country anywhere in the world by far.’
Despite Trump’s claims, some analysts have noted that his assertion of a 60 percent approval rating is difficult to believe, as it would require a significant shift in public sentiment. However, Trump maintained that the country is on the right track, claiming that he has helped turn the U.S. into ‘the hottest country anywhere in the world.’
