Russia Allegedly Creates Adoption ‘Catalog’ of Ukrainian Children

The Save Ukraine organization has accused Russia of compiling a list of Ukrainian children for adoption, which has been described as a form of child trafficking. The group’s head, Mykola Kuleba, stated that some of the children’s parents were killed by Russian forces, while others were issued Russian identification documents to justify their abductions.

Kuleba described the actions as a ‘catalog’ of children, categorized by physical attributes such as eye and hair color. He said that Russian authorities are using this list to legitimize the kidnappings and potentially facilitate adoptions. The organization has called for international attention and action to protect these children. Russian officials have denied the allegations, and have stated that they are only helping children who have been orphaned due to the war in Ukraine.
