Ukraine’s Energoatom Meets 2025 PSO Targets, Covers 100% of Jan-July Costs

Since the start of 2025, National Nuclear Energy Generating Company Energoatom has continued to fully meet its Public Service Obligations (PSO), aimed at reducing costs for the public. The company’s recent performance demonstrates its commitment to fulfilling its public service mandate and maintaining cost efficiency in energy provision.

The PSO program, which is a key component of Ukraine’s energy policy, ensures that essential services like electricity are provided at affordable rates for all citizens. By covering 100% of the costs from January to July 2025, Energoatom has shown its ability to manage financial obligations effectively while supporting public access to energy services.

This achievement is particularly significant given the ongoing challenges in the energy sector, including the need to balance operational costs with affordability for consumers. Energoatom’s success in meeting PSO targets reflects its strategic approach to cost management and its dedication to public service.
