A Lifelong Party of ‘Puzzle-Making Tomfoolery’

The International Puzzle Party, which began in 1978 with Jerry Slocum hosting the first gathering in his living room, has grown into a worldwide event that celebrates the art of puzzle-making.

Roger Manderscheid of Orange County, Calif., recently participated in the event by attempting to solve the Brother’s Key puzzle.

The evolution of the International Puzzle Party from a small gathering to a global phenomenon reflects the enduring appeal of puzzles and the creativity of those who design them. As the event continues to attract enthusiasts from around the world, it remains a testament to the joy and challenge of puzzle-solving.
