California Woman Found Dead; Husband Arrested in Suspected Murder

A 33-year-old California woman, Sheylla Cabrera, was found dead in Angeles National Forest, wrapped in a tarp. Her husband, Jossimar Cabrera, was captured on video dragging a similar tarp from their home the day before. Authorities have identified him as a person of interest in the investigation, with the body confirmed to be wrapped in the same material. Search and rescue teams discovered suspicious items in the forest matching the tarp from the video.

The husband fled to Peru before his wife’s body was discovered, and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is working with local authorities to extradite him to California. Officials are expected to charge him with murder if he is sent back to California. The three children were found safe in Peru and taken into protective custody. The cause of death is under investigation by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Authorities are also questioning the mother’s story, as a 7-month-old remains missing after an alleged kidnapping. The case has sparked public concern and a call for justice, with investigators working closely to piece together the events leading to the tragic discovery.
