Florida Man Credits Faith After Cross Pendant Deflects Bullet, Saves His Life

A 20-year-old Florida man, Aidan Perry, has credited his faith and a gold cross pendant for saving his life after he was shot point-blank in the chest. The incident occurred while Perry was visiting a friend’s apartment to watch a UFC fight when a stray bullet struck his pendant instead of piercing his body. Surgeons at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital believe the pendant deflected the bullet, preventing it from reaching his heart or other vital organs.

Perry, who has worn the cross as a daily reminder of his faith since Christmas, remains uncertain whether to repair or replace the broken pendant. The person who allegedly fired the shot has been arrested and charged with culp, negligence causing injury, according to Village-News. Perry has expressed his belief in miracles, stating, “I do believe in miracles,” and has shared his story on Fox & Friends First.
