AEW Titles Retained at Forbidden Door; Will Ospreay Suffers Beatdown

AEW’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view saw Adam Page and Toni Storm retain their AEW titles, while Will Ospreay faced a brutal beatdown. The event brought together wrestlers from AEW, Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Stardom, RevPro, and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) in London’s O2 Arena. Eight championship matches were featured, with the title pictures largely unchanged. Will Ospreay was targeted by Jon Moxley’s faction in the final match, with the Death Riders locking the door on his injured neck. Ospreay’s teammates couldn’t intervene, leaving him in a neck brace at the end of the event. In the AEW World Championship match, Adam Page outmaneuvered MJF with a Buckshot Lariat to retain the title. The event also saw returns of Wardlow and Jamie Hayter, with Storm defeating Athena to retain the Women’s World Championship.
