Additionally, the administration expects to sign a second executive order with the goal of eliminating cash bail across the country by threatening to revoke federal funding for jurisdictions that do not comply with the new policy.
While initially discussing the issue in late July, Trump has now moved to act through executive action, rather than relying on Congressional support. He had previously hinted at using House Republicans to push for bail reform, claiming that Democrats are
