Ukraine’s Asset Recovery Agency Transfers $3.5M to State Budget

Ukraine’s Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) has transferred more than $3.5 million from the sanctioned company Royal Pay Europe to the state budget, the agency’s press service reported. The move underscores the ongoing efforts by Ukrainian authorities to recover assets tied to entities under international sanctions. Royal Pay Europe, an entity previously linked to financial transactions involving sanctioned activities, has been subject to asset freezes and legal actions as part of broader sanctions measures against Russian individuals and entities.

According to officials, the transfer of funds represents a culmination of legal and financial strategies aimed at holding accountable those involved in activities undermining Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. This action not only contributes to the national budget but also serves as a deterrent against further illicit financial activities. The agency has been actively working to identify and reclaim assets that have been illicitly transferred or hidden abroad, particularly in response to the ongoing conflict with Russia.
