Paris Extend Seine River Swimming Ban Lift Until Mid-September

Paris has announced that the Seine River will remain open for swimming activities for an additional two weeks, extending the ongoing experiment. The city, which had banned public bathing in the river for over a century due to health risks, will maintain the temporary measure until mid-September. This decision comes after a July event at the Grenelle site on the River Seine, where the city tested the feasibility of allowing swimming in the river.
