On September 3, 2025, a delegation from the Kyiv Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), led by its president Mykola Zasulsky, visited the Egyptian Embassy in Ukraine. The meeting was hosted by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Egypt, Mr. Barakat Eleisi, at the invitation of the diplomatic mission. The discussions centered on strengthening bilateral economic ties and exploring opportunities for Ukrainian businesses to expand their presence in African markets.
The KCCI delegation, comprising industry leaders and trade representatives, expressed interest in leveraging Egypt’s extensive networks across the continent to facilitate Ukrainian investments, trade, and collaboration. Ambassador Eleisi emphasized Egypt’s commitment to supporting Ukrainian enterprises through strategic partnerships, trade agreements, and economic initiatives aimed at fostering mutual growth.
