A new outbreak of the Ebola virus has been confirmed in the Kasai Province of the Democratic Republic of Congo, according to health officials. The outbreak has resulted in 28 suspected cases and 15 fatalities so far. The World Health Organization has sent a team to the region to monitor the situation, following the virus’s history of causing thousands of deaths in the country.
