Fugitive Linked to ICE Building Firebombing May Be Wearing Women’s Clothing

A Georgia fugitive, Ronald Scott Watson, faces federal arson charges for allegedly participating in a firebombing incident at an ICE building during the 2020 riots. The FBI has warned that Watson may be disguising himself in women’s clothing, presenting a significant challenge for investigators. The attack, which occurred during widespread protests against ICE, resulted in over $78,000 in damage to the government property.

Watson, who also goes by the names Sarah Watson, Miranda Kyle, and Emily Smith, is accused of being part of a group of masked individuals who broke into the ICE building in downtown Atlanta. According to court documents, the group used a variety of items, including rocks, cinder blocks, modified fireworks, Molotov cocktails, and lighter fluid bottles, to cause damage.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) identified Watson as one of the perpetrators based on evidence collected after his January 2023 conviction for assaulting a public safety officer in Oregon.
