Ukrainian Armed Forces Confirmed Russian Missile and Drone Strikes over Past 24 Hours
Ukraine’s military has confirmed that Russian forces conducted a major series of attacks on the country’s territory over the past 24 hours, employing a combination of missile and drone systems in a coordinated assault.
The attacks, which were carried out overnight, involved 157 Shahed-type drones and decoys, alongside six S-300 guided missiles and an X-59 air-launched missile. The Ukrainian Air Force reported that these strikes targeted several infrastructure points, including residential areas and critical supply lines in the eastern and southern regions of the country.
As a result of the attacks, 11 civilians were killed and 32 others were injured. The Ukrainian government has yet to release any official comments on the attacks, but it is expected to make an official statement in the coming days to address the incident and its implications for the ongoing conflict.
Russian official channels have not yet commented on the incident, and as of now, there are no indications that the attacks were a result of any specific military operations or directives from the Russian leadership.
