President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has officially established the Military Ombudsman’s Office through a newly signed decree, with Olha Reshetylova (Kobylinska) named as its inaugural head. Reshetylova, who previously served as the presidential commissioner for the protection of the rights of servicemen and their families, will now lead this newly created body tasked with safeguarding the welfare of Ukrainian military personnel and its families.
The establishment of the Military Omb, as its first head. The office will be responsible for ensuring that the rights of Ukrainian servicemen and their families are protected throughout their service and beyond. This includes addressing grievances, monitoring the treatment of military personnel, and ensuring that their rights are upheld under Ukrainian law.
