The Institute of Mass Information (IMI) has disclosed that the Russian Federation has committed 847 crimes against journalists and media outlets in Ukraine since the full-scale invasion began. These crimes include attacks on media facilities, harassment of journalists, and the detention of media workers. The report also states that 111 media workers have died as a result of the conflict, highlighting the perilous conditions faced by those in the media sector. The IMI’s data underscores the severe impact of the war on press freedom and the safety of journalists in Ukraine.
