Israeli authorities confirmed the deportation of Swedish activist Greta Thunberg and over 170 others following their arrest last week as they attempted to reach Gaza aboard an aid flotilla. The Israeli Foreign Ministry accused the group of orchestrating a “fake news campaign” and claimed they were detained for attempting to breach the Gaza blockade. The ministry also denied allegations of mistreatment, calling them “brave lies.”
