Noem Compares Antifa to ISIS, Citing Domestic Terror Threat

During a White House roundtable on Wednesday, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and President Donald Trump took a firm stance against Antifa, labeling the group as a domestic terrorism threat. Noem, who has been vocal about the dangers posed by left-wing extremists, compared Antifa to well-known extremist groups such as ISIS, Hezbollah, and Hamas, claiming that it is as sophisticated and dangerous as these international terror organizations. ‘These individuals do not just want to threaten our law enforcement officers, threaten our journalists and the citizens of this country. They want to kill them,’ Noem stated, emphasizing the administration’s commitment to addressing the threat.

Trump, who set the tone for the discussion, reiterated that the U.S. faces a ‘very serious left-wing terror threat,’ with radicals associated with Antifa engaging in violence against ICE agents and other officials. He also hinted at the upcoming release of information that could reveal the involvement of paid individuals in organizing Antifa activities. ‘You’ll be finding it out very soon,’ he said, indicating that the administration has gathered significant evidence against the group.

Other top officials, including FBI Director Kash Patel and Attorney General Pam Bondi, participated in the roundtable, aligning themselves with the administration’s view that Antifa represents an existential threat to American society. The roundtable also included several journalists who expressed gratitude for the administration’s acknowledgment of Antifa’s real and organized nature. ‘Thank you, Mr. President, for having us here,’ said reporter Julio Rosas. ‘And, you know, not to sound like a broken record, but it needs to be said that Antifa is real. It’s real. It’s a threat.’ The journalists also criticized legacy media for downplaying or ignoring the violence associated with Antifa, highlighting the importance of the Trump administration’s public stance on the issue.
