The State Agency for Restoration of Ukraine, which is responsible for rebuilding critical infrastructure damaged during the ongoing conflict, has reported that it has not received any financial support from Kyiv for the construction of shelters. Agency head Serhiy Sukhomlyn made this statement during a recent press conference, emphasizing the need for additional funding to continue the reconstruction efforts.
According to Sukhomlyn, the agency has been relying on international donors and private sector contributions to finance the shelters, which are essential for protecting critical infrastructure such as power plants, water treatment facilities, and communications networks. He stressed that without further resources, the agency may be unable to meet its ambitious rebuilding targets.
