Emergency power outages introduced on the morning of October 16 due to the consequences of the Russian Federation’s attacks on the power system have been canceled, for now, in Kyiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava regions, energy holding DTEK and Poltavaoblenergo have announced. This decision comes after significant damage to the power grid from recent attacks, which led to the implementation of emergency measures to prioritize essential services. The cancellation of the outages for now suggests that the situation has stabilized, at least temporarily, allowing for the resumption of normal power supply in these critical areas.
