DENISE RICHARDS’ EX, AARON PHYPERS, ARRESTED ON SPOUSAL ABUSE CHARGES AMID RESTRAINING ORDER BATTLE
LOS ANGELES — Denise Richards’ estranged husband, Aaron Phypers, was arrested in court on spousal abuse charges as the actress fights for a permanent restraining order against him. Phypers, who was handcuffed in the courtroom, was seen arguing with officers as he was taken into custody on Friday.
Richards’ attorney informed Fox News Digital that Phypers was arrested on spousal abuse charges. The incident comes amid an ongoing legal battle where Richards is seeking a permanent restraining order after initially being granted a temporary one in July. The temporary order was issued based on allegations of physical and emotional abuse Richards faced during her marriage to Phypers, including a violent incident around the time he filed for divorce in July.
Richards testified in court last week, asserting that Phypers attempted to tarnish her reputation during the fallout of their relationship, including a claim that he leaked nude photos of the actress.
