Halloween Horror: Masked Trio Terrors Family in Alexandria Home Invasion Attempt

A video has captured a terrifying incident in Alexandria, Virginia, where three masked individuals attempted to break into a home, threatening its occupants. The suspects, dressed in Halloween costumes including a clown, Michael Myers, and an evil nun, allegedly yelled threats and attempted to force entry.

The incident occurred at around 10 p.m. on Tuesday, when the group approached the home of Shayla Whiteside’s mother. The family, including Whiteside, her younger brother, and the family dog, was present, according to Fox 5. Whiteside initially thought the group was just playing a Halloween prank, but the situation escalated quickly as the suspects ignored her warnings and continued their aggression toward the family.

The suspects can be heard yelling, ‘It’s your worst nightmare,’ while standing outside the home. They reportedly ignored warnings from Whiteside that she was on the phone with 911 and authorities were on their way. The group allegedly threatened to break down the door with a chair, causing Whiteside to fear for her family’s safety.

Authorities believe the three suspects removed their masks before fleeing in a vehicle. Police are now canvassing the area for additional surveillance video to identify the individuals involved. If identified, the suspects could face charges such as burglary and making criminal threats, as stated by Alexandria Police Chief Tarrick McGuire. The incident highlights the potential danger of Halloween pranks and the importance of taking threats seriously, especially when they occur at a residence.

McGuire warned parents about the risks associated with Halloween-themed pranks and emphasized the legal rights of homeowners to defend themselves against threats on their property. The Alexandria Police Department is actively searching for the suspects and is urging the community to be vigilant, especially during the Halloween season when such incidents may be more common.
