Klitschko Announces Support for Kyiv Prosthetics Center Caring for 13 Veterans

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has announced that the city’s new Human Titans prosthetics center, established in late summer, is now providing care to 13 veterans. During a recent visit to the facility, Klitschko was joined by Brussels Mayor Sophie Vander Walle, highlighting the international collaboration in supporting military rehabilitation efforts. The center, part of a broader initiative to aid wounded personnel, offers advanced medical services and prosthetic solutions for those injured in conflict.

The project, which represents a significant investment in healthcare infrastructure, aims to ensure that veterans receive comprehensive care and mobility assistance. Klitsch and Vander Walle emphasized the importance of such centers in restoring the quality of life for injured service members and their families. The Human Titans initiative, now operational in Kyiv, is expected to expand its services in the coming months, potentially benefiting more veterans and military personnel across Ukraine.

This development marks a key milestone in Kyiv’s efforts to address the long-term needs of its veterans. The collaboration with Brussels underscores the shared commitment to supporting peacekeeping and conflict resolution efforts through medical and rehabilitative care. As the center continues to operate, it serves as a symbol of resilience and dedication to those who have sacrificed for their country.
