Ukraine Cabinet Approves UAH 2.5 Billion for eRecovery Housing Certificates

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved an additional UAH 2.5 billion for housing certificates under the eRecovery program, announced Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko. This funding is part of a broader initiative to support Ukraine’s housing recovery and economic resilience in the wake of the ongoing war. The eRecovery program, launched earlier this year, aims to assist citizens affected by the conflict by providing financial support for housing rehabilitation and reconstruction.

The allocation of the additional funds comes amid growing concerns about the long-term economic impact of the war on Ukraine’s infrastructure and population. The government has emphasized that the housing certificates will be distributed to eligible households, particularly those in conflict-affected areas, to facilitate the rebuilding process. This move is expected to stimulate local economies and create employment opportunities in the construction and real estate sectors.

Prime Minister Svyrydenko highlighted the importance of the eRecovery program in restoring Ukraine’s housing stock and ensuring that families can return to their homes as soon as possible. The government has also stressed the need for continued international support to sustain these efforts. With the additional funding, Ukraine aims to accelerate the pace of recovery and provide a more stable environment for its citizens.
