Ukraine to Host Press Conference on Ministry of Environment’s Forest Destruction

Interfax-Ukraine has scheduled a press conference for October 29 at 11:00 to address the Ministry of Environment’s suspected increase in the destruction of protected forests within national parks. The event, hosted at the press center of the Interfax-Ukraine news agency, will feature lawyers and scientists from the Kyiv Ecological and Cultural Center. Among the participants are Oleksandr Diadiuk, a lawyer with the center; Ivan Parnikoza, a Doctor of Biological Sciences and deputy director of the center; and Volodyy Boreiko, the center’s director, based at 8/5-A Reitarska St.

The conference aims to explore the environmental implications of the Ministry of Environment’s actions and the potential impact on national parks. The press conference will be broadcast live on the Interfax-Ukraine YouTube channel, with journalists required to register on-site using editorial ID cards. This initiative underscores ongoing concerns about environmental protection and the role of governmental agencies in preserving natural resources.
