Pregnant Widow Shares Heartbreaking Last Text from Husband Before Fatal Bar Fight in Arizona

A pregnant widow has shared the heartbreaking last text message from her husband, Thomas John ‘TJ’ Pizzitola, who was killed in a deadly bar fight outside a Scottsdale, Arizona, bar earlier this month. The incident occurred when Pizzitola and his friends were kicked out for unruly behavior and later assaulted, with one friend allegedly sucker-punching him. Pizzitola’s wife, Krisan, recounted the moment she had dropped him off at the bar for what was supposed to be a fun night out with friends just weeks before their son was due to be born. She shared that she texted her husband, who responded with a message expressing his pride in her for staying home and taking care of their future child, which was the last text she ever received from him. Pizzitola was rushed to a hospital but later died from a fatal brain injury. On Oct. 22, police arrested five people in connection with his death, including Drew Meneses, who was charged with second-degree murder. Meneses, who was held on $1 million bond, claimed the incident was a ‘bad night’ with no malicious intent. Prosecutors cited cellphone video that showed Pizzitola being sucker-punched from behind, leading to his death. The other suspects faced charges of aggravated assault and disorderly conduct, while the family, including Krisan who is due to give birth next month, is receiving support through a GoFundMe page.
