Ukrainian Prosecutor General and Lithuanian President Discuss Special Tribunal for War Crimes

During a working visit to the Republic of Lithuania, Ukraine’s Prosecutor General, Ruslan Kravchenko, met with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda to discuss the establishment of a Special Tribunal dedicated to the prosecution of crimes of aggression. This initiative is part of broader efforts to address the legal and humanitarian consequences of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

The two leaders emphasized the need for international legal mechanisms to hold individuals accountable for war crimes. Kravchenko highlighted the importance of maintaining the rule of law and ensuring justice for victims. Nausėda expressed Lithuania’s commitment to supporting Ukraine’s legal and political processes in this context.
