FOX News Maintains YouTube Dominance with 377 Million Views in October

FOX News Media secured its sixth consecutive month as the top news brand on YouTube with 377 million video views in October, outperforming competitors like MSNBC and CNN. According to Emplifi, this growth highlights Fox News’ strong presence and engagement on the platform, driven by its digital strategies and expanded content offerings. The success is attributed to the company’s emphasis on YouTube in 2025, with the launch of Fox News Clips, a platform providing the latest reporting and analysis from the Fox News Channel. This initiative has contributed to the 14.6 million subscriber base on the flagship Fox News account.

Fox News’ dominance on the platform is further reinforced by its consistent performance in social media interactions, reaching 162.4 million across Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and X. The brand recorded a 12% year-over-year increase in TikTok interactions and experienced a 529% surge in Facebook engagements compared to October 2024. Additionally, Fox News drove 23.2 million Instagram interactions and 7.1 million on X, reflecting its broad audience reach.

On linear television, Fox News continued to lead the news-heavy month of October, surpassing cable news competitors like MSNBC and CNN across key metrics. The channel averaged 1.5 million total day viewers, significantly outperforming MSNBC’s 504,000 and CNN’s 388,000. During primetime, Fox News attracted 2.3 million viewers, compared to MSNBC’s 815,000 and CNN’s 504,000, reinforcing its cable news leadership.

Fox News also maintained its presence in social campaigns, renewing its ‘Make Camo Your Cause’ initiative with the USVets organization to address veteran homelessness. This partnership reflects the brand’s engagement beyond news media, extending into social impact and advocacy efforts. The combination of online and traditional media dominance underscores Fox News’ strategic position in the current media landscape.
