Zelenskyy Announces Boost in Funding for Ukraine’s Fighting Corps

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced that funding for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) corps currently engaged in the most intense battles will be increased, following a working trip to the Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions. This decision was made after a meeting of the Headquarters of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, which is being prepared to review the outcomes of the trip and strategize further military actions.

The President’s announcement comes as part of a broader strategy to bolster the country’s defense capabilities amid the ongoing conflict with Russia. The increased funding is intended to support the troops in the most critical theaters of operation, ensuring they have the necessary resources to continue their efforts. Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong and well-equipped military in the face of ongoing challenges.

Zelenskyy’s visit to the Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions provided firsthand insights into the conditions on the ground, which informed the decision to allocate additional resources. The President stated that the increased funding will be used to enhance logistical support, modernize equipment, and ensure the welfare of the soldiers. This move is seen as a significant step in the fight against the Russian invasion and a demonstration of Ukraine’s determination to defend its sovereignty.
