Russian Forces Expand Occupation in Eastern Ukraine

Russian forces have advanced in multiple directions, capturing nearly 19 square kilometers of territory in a single day. The expansion has led to an increase in the ‘gray zone’ by 30 square kilometers. These developments include areas near the village of Seredne and the Lymansk community in the Donetsk region, as well as the village of Mayske and Kostiantynivsky community near Chasovy Yar.

The movements have also extended to the Kramatorsk district and north of Sviatohirsk, with additional gains near the village of Kotlyne and the Pokrovsk community. In the Zaporizhia region, Russian troops have occupied the village of Krasnohirske, which is located on the border with Dnipropetrovsk. The ongoing territorial expansion continues to raise concerns about the conflict’s impact on civilian populations and regional stability.
