On Veterans Day, Tunnel to Towers (T2, T2) Chairman & CEO Frank Siller announced the delivery of 25 mortgage-free homes to Gold Star widows whose loved ones died protecting our country. The homes, part of the organization’s ongoing mission, are designed to provide a permanent and dignified living environment for families who have experienced the profound loss of a military service member.
Siller, the son of the original 9/11 victims, emphasized the significance of this moment, stating, ‘These homes are a tribute to the sacrifice and service of those who gave their lives to protect our freedom.’ The initiative is part of T2T’s broader efforts to honor the legacy of the 9/11 attacks through concrete acts of support for military families.
The homes are built with a focus on sustainability and community integration, ensuring that families not only have a place to live but also a supportive neighborhood. This program reflects the organization’s commitment to long-term care for those who have served, offering both immediate relief and enduring support. The gesture reinforces the importance of remembering and honoring the fallen while providing practical assistance to their families.
