Archaeologists have uncovered ancient Canaanite ritual artifacts and a 5,000-year-old winepress at Tel Megiddo in Israel, the biblical site known as Armageddon. These findings, including a unique rock-carved winepress and evidence of a Canaanite folk cult, provide new insights into early urbanization and religious practices in the region, dating from around 3000 B.C. to 1270 B.C.
