Security minister Dan Jarvis emphasized the gravity of the situation, calling the activities a ‘covert and calculated attempt’ by China. He stressed the importance of safeguarding national security in light of these developments. The report suggests that Chinese operatives are operating under the guise of legitimate business or recruitment endeavors, using LinkedIn to build trust and establish connections with target individuals.
