The pipeline company, which had earlier obtained a major judicial victory against Greenpeace, has now sought a North Dakota court to prevent a countersuit initiated in the Netherlands. Greenpeace had filed this countersuit following a court ruling earlier this year that determined them liable for their involvement in the 2016 protests against the Dakota, N.D., pipeline near Cannonball.
