Government Unveils Declassified Amelia Earhart Files After 90 Years

The U.S. National Archives has officially released 4,624 pages of previously sealed records related to the disappearance of Amelia Earhart, a pioneering American aviator. The documents provide an in-depth look at her last known communications, maps, navigation logs, and credible distress signals from the Gardner Island area. This release comes over a century after her 1937 disappearance during her attempt to fly around the world, with the files having been declassified after decades of public and academic interest.
